Home FosteringHelp dogs and cats get off the euthanasia lists at shelters by opening your home. Apollo will provide food and medical supplies so you can focus on caring for your foster until they find a forever family.

Virtual FosteringChoose a dog or cat to promote online, help transport to adoption events, or spend time with at our facility. Virtual fostering is a great alternative if you can't host a foster at your home 24/7.

I had considered fostering animals before, and with COVID, it was the right time. I think a lot of people are worried they won't be able to let them go, but it helps knowing you helped the animal and get to select their new home so you know they are going to a good family.

I saw the post with all the small pups in the hoarding situation. I only had one dog and we had just lost my other dog a year prior. We had room and time, so we decided to take in one foster at a time. We now currently have three fosters with one foster fail and one we rescued from the shelter in 2015. We've only been doing this since October 2021, but we plan on doing it for a while.
